Senior Squad Primed for kick off of Energia AIL

The Energia All Ireland league kicks off this weekend and our senior squad are primed for the visit of Navan to Dr Hickey Park on Saturday afternoon.

Head Coach Danny Kenny and his team have strengthened the squad and added necessary depth ahead of the new campaign with the promotion of several players from last seasons U20’s some of whom have had a big impact in recent Leinster League games along with the introduction of new and returning players to the club.

Former Greystones youth and Leinster U19’s Prop, Gerhard Zdunek is welcomed back from Dublin University while kiwi scrum half Ben Stephens joins from Old Wesley. We also welcome two players joining from New Zealand, back row Reeve Satherley and front row Shane Fikken will add experience to the pack. 

There is a real air of confidence around the squad with a lot of hard work put in over pre-season and with the additions we have real strength in depth to tackle the rigours of the All Ireland League in the season ahead.
