Greystones RFC Charity Day
Rugby, Music, Food & Community Spirit!

Saturday, 3rd May From 2pm
 (Vets Match 3pm K/O)

Join us in the Club this Saturday for a fantastic day of fun, food, and rugby – all in support of a great cause!

Our Charity Day promises something for everyone, with a vibrant county fair atmosphere featuring traditional games, family-friendly fun, a mouth-watering BBQ, and live music to keep the party going.

We’ll also be hosting a charity raffle with incredible prizes up for grabs – including signed Irish and Toulouse rugby gear.

The highlight of the afternoon will be a veterans rugby match as Greystones RFC takes on the visiting Barbarians B.AWARE – a touring charity team from Toulouse. Founded in 2010, B.AWARE have raised over €22,000 for causes such as the French Alzheimer Charity and the Midi-Pyrenees Bone Marrow Transplant Charity. This year, through the shared spirit of rugby, they’ve chosen Greystones as their destination and are proudly raising funds for the IRFU Charitable Trust.

The IRFU Charitable Trust, established in 1978, provides lifelong support to rugby players in Ireland who have suffered life-changing injuries. From medical equipment and home adaptations to emotional support and social connection, the Trust ensures no injured player is ever left to face their journey alone.

As the sun begins to set, we’ll gather to watch Leinster take on Northampton in the European Semi Final, wrapping up the perfect day of sport and solidarity.

Whether you're a rugby fan, music lover, foodie, or just love a good day out – don’t miss it. Come down, show your support, and help make a difference!
All Welcome!!!
