Eoin Marmion retains the captaincy and lines up in the second row alongside Johan Van Der Flier while in the front row the evergreen Conor Pearse starting his 12th consecutive season has a new partner in Dutch International Prop Quermy Warmerdam while Freddie Happonen lines out at hooker.
In the backrow Reeve Satherley returns for another season and joins Danny Kenny and Stephen Bourke,
Killian Marmion is still working his way back to fitness so Gavin Rochford starts at ten with the experience of Dave Baker inside him at nine. In the centre newcomer Jack O'Brien partners Andrew Lynch with Dylan Henry and the experienced pair of Matt O'Brien and centurian Ferdia Kenny in the back three.
