We are delighted to share that Greystones RFC have been chosen as the BDO Leinster Senior Club of the Year at the Leinster Rugby annual awards event last night.
This award is recognition of the work, time and commitment of our dedicated volunteers across all sections of the club, on and off the field and of how, as a club we have created a welcoming environment underpinned by our club values where everyone within our community can come, play and enjoy rugby regardless of ability, age or gender.
The award recognised in particular the number of Referees from the club supporting games in Leinster, our special needs Seagulls, the growth of our women’s and girls participation, the 650 minis and youths, the number of teams we field at adult level and our continued participation at the higher levels of the All Ireland League.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to achieving this recognition and to the continued growth of our great club.
